Hamilton, a musical created by Lin Manuel Miranda combines singing and rapping. It was crafted over a span of seven years. The storyline revolves around Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of America. The production incorporates influences from hip-hop, R&B, pop, soul, and classic show tunes. Interestingly the musical features actors from backgrounds portraying the Founding Fathers and other significant historical figures, in history.

Aladdin is a Broadway musical. Set in the fictional Arabian city of Agrabah, the story follows the familiar tale of a poor young man who is granted three wishes by a genie in a lamp, which he uses to woo a princess and thwart the sultan's evil Grand Vizier.

Come from Away is a musical, from Canada. It tells the story of what happened in the town of Gander, Newfoundland after the events of September 11. During that week 38 planes carrying, around 7,000 passengers had to make a landing at Gander International Airport.
