Alexander Ovechkin

Ovechkin is often hailed as one of the goal-scorers in the NHL.
His talent for shooting as a power has been extensively discussed. In 2018, he impressed by winning the shot title at the NHL All-Star game skills competition with an attempt speed of 98.8 mph. He then amazed everyone by exceeding 100 mph on his shot earning him the distinction of being the player in that year's All-Star game to achieve this feat with a stunning 101.3 MPH blast.
Over the years, Ovechkin has been honored with awards such as the Hart Memorial Trophy for being the league's valuable player three times (in 2008, 2009, and 2013). Known by many as "The Great 8," Ovechkin has left a lasting mark on hockey.
His accolades include achievements like winning the Best NHL Player ESPY Award Calder Memorial Trophy, Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, Conn Smythe Trophy selections, the NHL All-Star team times Ted Lindsay Award recognition and even clinching the title of Best Male Athlete ESPY Award.
